Collective Nouns
- Collective nouns are nouns that describe a collection or group of people, animals, or things as a whole.
- Collective nouns usually begin with 'a' or 'an'.
Ex: My grandmother owns a string of pearls.
Some examples of collective nouns:
A flock of birds
An army of ants
A group of students
A band of musicians
A pair of shoes
